10-4-02  The first event was devoted to conservation issues world-wide.  Each attendee’s nametag was printed with a conservation question to encourage conversation when approached by another attendee.  The answer to each question was printed on the back so that the bearer of the nametag could answer the question when read by another person and thus become an “instant expert.”  In addition, there were many thought-provoking displays regarding everything from wildlife, resource and energy conservation to world population.
