Recycling: Once Is Not Enough

 5-2-04  This Conservation Connections was co-sponsored by the Sherborn Recycling Committee and was designed as the final event in the weekend celebration of the renovation and rededication of the town’s Recycling Center.  Guest speakers Ann McGovern, Consumer Waste Reduction Coordinator for the Mass. DEP, and Pat Scanlon, Solid Waste and Recycling Consultant, provided fascinating presentations on composting and large- scale recycling, respectively.  Both brought interesting displays and Pat’s presentation included a slideshow and a live performance of his recycling song with banjo accompaniment.
