Trail Connections, Landowner Liability and Courtesy on the Trails

 3-9-03  The second “Conservation Connections” was devoted to Trail Connections, Landowner Liability and Courtesy on the Trails, and featured a slideshow presentation of trails in Sherborn and highlighted potential connecting trails.  Displays provided information on trail etiquette (Trail Rules of the Road) and on MGL, Chapter 21: Section 17C, the so-called Landowner’s Limited Liability Act, which protects landowners who allow public use of their land for recreational purposes.
