About the event
On Saturday, March 14, join us for a walk in Sherborn conservation land to see spring as it starts to unfold. Inspired by the walks that Thoreau and Emerson regularly took around Concord, we'll explore the trails, woods and wetlands of the Barber Reservation on Western Avenue, and watch for signs of spring along the way. We'll meet at the Barber Barn at 9 am and the walk will last about an hour. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes that can deal with muddy parts of the Barber. If it rains steadily, the walk will be postponed, but otherwise, we'll go ahead. We'll be walking at a brisk pace over uneven trails, which may be challenging for smaller children and some adults. Park in the Barber lot or along Steven's Lane. This walk is the first of an ongoing series of Saturday Morning Rambles sponsored by Sherborn Forest and Trails.
